Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hope all mothers had a great weekend and hope some caught some fish. Continued days of sunshine and plenty of heat, has kept a great bite going.
Structured areas are main targets for locating snook like always, but docks have been the main targets last week. Schooling fish are gathering along dock pillings and long docks along points. Live baits freelined near structure creates strikes. Rapala skitter walks and DOA 4" jerk baits worked with tide creates awesome surface strikes.
Deep holes and channels are holding schooling tarpon on both sides of the tides. Tarpon have been active on live baits as of late, patience is key as tarpon can be picky at times. As we get closer to the full moon bigger pods and fish will start to gather along beach's and passes.
Jacks have been plentiful and ferocious striking live baits and Rapala along sea walls and mangrove shorelines. Schooling jacks have ranged in size from 2 to 5 pounds but anglers have wrangled 10 to 20 pounders in on light tackle.
Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
