Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

August has arrived, typically the hottest month of the year for our local area. Fishing remains hot as well for anglers. Beat the heat fish morning and afternoons!
Snook fishing continues to thrive along passes, seawalls and docks. Live baits and Rapala x rap best choices to get hooked up with a linesider. Snook are schooled up, bigger fish tend to hang out side the pods, smaller fish very active chewing on both sides of the tides.
Tarpon fishing continues to stay hot, channels and backcountry bays excellent areas. Clean water downsizing leader is key. Live baits and Doa terror eyz excellent baits to get the strike. Silver Kings have been ranging in size from 5 to 60 pounds.
Structured areas, holes and rock piles are holding a plethora of species for anglers. Past week has offered plenty of juvenile Goliath groupers, snapper, drum, grunts, jacks, and many other species. Live baits and dead baits produce strikes.
Well, that is the Fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X and YouTube
