Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Mid September progress report! The mullet still continue to migrate through the local area. Downfall has been the heavy rains in the afternoon, continue to dirty the local waters. Finding clean water and moving water key to producing drag, screaming action.
Tarpon schools can be seen crashing mullet schools along the intercoastal waterways. Beaches have been too rough to get out of there, due to the ground swell. Back areas canals and bays anglers have great great success. Live mullet freelined or a Rapala skitter V gets the silver kings attention.
Snook are being caught near points, drop offs, seawalls and docks as they ambush mullets schools. Live bait free lined with the tide or a DOA 4" jerk bait great baits to get the strike. Sunrise and sunset great times to tap into explosive action.
The bait has local waters teaming with jacks, ladyfish, bluefish, sharks and snapper. Schools of jacks lead to explosive top water strikes on the Rapala skitter v. Anglers have enjoyed great action and great variety of species past week.
Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, and YouTube
