Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Happy Easter to all! The end of March beginning of April brought moderate conditions as winds prevailed. Full moon added for big tides and negative tides.
Snook fishing was excellent along muddy bottom areas and points. Moving water was key for steady bites, snook schooled up striking live baits and Rapala x raps. Anglers had a blast wrangling all four species of snook in this past week.
Tarpon fishing was hit and miss this past week big tides made for strong currents and muddy water. Tarpon in channels provided best bite in live baits free lined with tide. Schooling fish can be seen rolling at times creating happy and anxious anglers.
Full moon created a great snapper bite for lane and mangrove snapper past week. Bottom fishing with shrimp working rocky bottom and structures best way to get the rods bent. Many other species like drum, jacks, grunts and many other species put a bend in the rod.
Well that is the fishing for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you cant catch the from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest and YouTube.
