Palm Beach Jupiter saltwater and freshwater report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
January 12, 2020
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

The past week offered a whirlwind of weather, extreme winds made for less traffic on the water and the bite was on.

The snook bite has been fantastic cooler water temperatures have snook schooling up along structure and channel edges. Daiwa DR minnow and live baits have been the key to getting the hook up. Anglers have been catching double digit numbers of snook in just a few hours, as well as different species of snook. The bite will continue as water temperatures stay cool.

Snook are not the only species being caught anglers are having fun catching a plethora of species like drum, pompano, mackeral, snapper and many others, fishing shorelines and drop offs were there is water flow. DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tail and pompano jigs tipped with shrimp have had the rods bent.

Freshwater action the peacock bass bite is strong along seawalls and shorelines. Daiwa DR Minnow and DOA C.A.L. 3 " shad tail great choices for the peacock bass. Anglers are also catching sunshine bass, clown knife fish and largemouth bass while I search of the mighty peacock.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com 561-644-4371.
