Beautiful days for spring fishing in Panama City Florida

Capt. James Pic
February 10, 2014
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

We took the boat out for a quick little run this weekend, haven't run it since duck season ended. We stopped in pass with some live shrimp and picked up a couple of reds. We went over to another spot and after fishing hard for a little while got a nice sheepshead. We ended up in a bayou with some nice trout.
This time of year is great for fishing especially on a day like today; sunny with a high in the mid sixties.
There are some nice catch and release snapper on the inshore wrecks.
Come on down and let's catch some fish.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Trout and redfish in the bayous and flats. Reds in the pass. The sheepshead should be picking up with each warm day.

Target Species:

Spring fishing for reds, trout and sheepshead.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
