Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
Cool weather and hot fishing…what more could you ask for? Fall is here and I'll say it again this is my favorite time to fish. For those of you that prefer catch and release the Amberjack fishing is just about as good as it can get. They are ready for anything you throw at them. They are hitting live bait, plugs, or soft plastics. The plugs I have been having the most success with are the X-RAP TWITCHING MINNOW by RAPALA and for the soft plastics DOA Big One TerrorEyz in rootbeer/gold. For the live bait fishing everything eats a big Pilchard.
Now for the catch and keep. We are catching lots of King Mackerel, Black Snapper, Red Snapper (Fri, Sat, Sun) White Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, and a few Mahi.
This is the absolute best time of the year to be fishing. So don't miss out on it.
