Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

I'm not one to post only when I crush'em. Today was really slow, to top it off I had a 6th year repeat client Tom Eagan. This man has caught everything from Tarpon to Flounder with me. Tom brings his family to fish with me at least 3 times a year. We picked a mixed bag, all catch and release. Handful of sheepshead, Reds, Sea bass, and Grunts. If I've learned anything in my twenty years of taking care of clients, take care of the kids.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Panama City Pass is slow and steady(water is warming up). Triggers still at shallow wrecks 80 ft. Warren Bayou Trout have movve out to flats. Some Bull Reds still on the beach, lots of boat traffic have them spooky, get away from the traffic. Talked to Victor Wright of Gulf Breeze Bait-n-Tackle in Pensacola, he said " a single and a pair of cobia were caught today off there beaches. Typically the Cobia show to the west fish along the Panhandle because of the warmer water. Spring is hitting finally!!!
Target Species:

Mixed Bag...
