Last day of Snapper for 2011

Capt. Jason Giles
November 21, 2010
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

I really didn't think we would get our trip in. 22 ft boat, 3 ft. seas and a steady east wind. Yes we got wet, my back hurts, and we got the job done.

We kept 1 flounder, 1 mangrove, 1 lane snapper, 2 b-liners, 3 fine grouper, and a limit of the red ones. We broke off some stud grouper today. My guys were tough so we didn't even flounder fish, we hit a bunch of shallow wrecks trying to yank up grouper. There are some fine ones in shallow this time of year. Getting them up out of 65 ft of water is the hard part. For the last day of the season, I feel really good about the snapper population...aswell as the grouper too!

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Flounder, bull reds, and trout doing it to it!!!
