Light Tackle Fishing in Panama City, FL

Capt. Todd Jones
April 11, 2015
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

This has been another great week of fishing. Although the Sheepshead fishing has slowed down we are still catching them in good numbers. Typically I have been fishing for Sheepshead and Pompano first thing in the morning the heading a short distance Offshore for Vermillion, White Snapper, and Amberjacks. We then finish up the last hour trolling down the beach catching Spanish and looking for Cobia.

The fishing is getting better by the day. Today Capt. Justin Leake saw a couple Kings skyrocket in the Pass.

FISH

More Fishing Reports:

Capt. Todd has been fishing the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and guiding for 30 years. He is a second generation fishing guide. While serving his country for 22 years as a Navy Diver he was able to fish all over the world. In his travels he has fished the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean and the Sea of Cortez. But in his opinion nothing compares to the diversity we have here in the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
