Panama City Beach Fishing

Capt. Todd Jones
March 18, 2016
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

It' been awhile since my last report, I am almost done with the new boat. If all goes well I should be Cobia fishing in it next Saturday. In the meantime, Capt. Chris Spann has been kind enough to let me use his Everglades to run a few trips. The fishing is pretty consistent right now; we start the trip off with a few Sheepshead in the Pass then move off to the near shore reefs and catch Triggerfish, White Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and a few Jacks. From here on out the fishing should get better with every passing day.

More Fishing Reports:

Capt. Todd has been fishing the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and guiding for 30 years. He is a second generation fishing guide. While serving his country for 22 years as a Navy Diver he was able to fish all over the world. In his travels he has fished the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean and the Sea of Cortez. But in his opinion nothing compares to the diversity we have here in the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
