Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
I should apologize for my lack of reports this year compared to years past. Life has been tough since the BP catastrophe with a lot of anxiety as to what's going to happen from one day to the next. I'm down a lot but running more than most. I was on the water this morning not seeing another guide boat the entire time. Even if some are in the gulf fishing I still see a few running here and there but none today.
As for the fishing, long time client John White commented this morning that he had never seen the big schools on top trashing the baits like we have seen this week. Spanish, blues, ladies, bonito, sharks and many other species are chasing the abundance of baits throughout the bay making life easy for those of us that fish for a living.
The spanish, which left for a brief period during all the rain run-off from a few weeks ago, have shown back up in bigger schools with bigger fish. The bay is full of fish, there is plenty of bait and no oil. It's a fishermans dream just now in Panama City Florida.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:
Fishing is getting better every day. This could be the best fall season I have ever seen due to the conditions and the amount of bait in the bay.
Target Species:
Everything is biting.
