Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Went to East Bay to do a little shallow water fishin' today. Great thing about a 22' tunnel hull is that it's big and roomy for a little rain and wind (no cancellations) but can also to 40 mph in 10 inches of water! Beeeeutiful!
So we caught some great trout and reds fishing with a couple of new baits. The bite was hot with "G" catching most of the fish, much to Aarons dismay. Yup....she kicked major butt today!
Check out the photo's:

You will notice in the next photo that we are on fish short of two limits. Seems like the prettier of the two decided to attempt to flop a 20" fish in the boat while we were going for the net...hmmmmmmmm....guess even my brightest pupils stray from the path and lose one. She did catch most of the fish though....Good job "G".

The red was caught in about a foot of water. You should have seen the explosion when he was hooked!
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

As I said in my last report the trout bite is hot this year. This type of catch is the rule instead of the exception this year. My clients put so many fish over five pounds in the boat each year we don't even count them. If you want that big trophy fish....trust me, I'm the one to call.
Red fishing is starting to turn on along with some flounder being caught here and there.
Along the beach and inside the pass we are still catching nice pompano and a few cobia. Had a cobia on yesterday but the client let it sling the hook.
The palegics will be here soon which brings 100 fish morning on light tackle and fly.
After that the kings show up....Oh...you didn't know I run king trips? Heck ya! I love putting my clients on those smoker kings on light tackle.
Fishing is great this year come be a part of it.
