Spring is here, the fishing is great and getting better.

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spring is here and the fishing is great. The pass is full of giant reds, sheeps and black drum. In the next few weeks the spanish will show up thick and the cobia are already here.
Check out my last four reports for the skinny and the photos.

There is a lot of fishing to do in the spring; trout and reds on the flats; spanish in the bay; pompano along the beach.

Here's a red caught last April while trout fishing in East Bay:

The end of day, trout, reds, spanish, blues and pompano. Picking a competent guide is important. If your going this time of year and not catching fish, or only a couple, you have the wrong guide.

Look for the fishing to pick up and get better. You can be that you will catch fish with me.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Everything is coming together. Give me a call so you can catch some good fish.

Target Species:

Reds, trout...spanish and cobia later in the month.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
