Steam Plan Canal still steamin' with some gator trout!

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Troy McQuagge, Will and Wes from Dallas braved the cold windy morning for some fishing at Warren Bayou. The smaller fish that we have been catching all winter have either moved out or were just not wanting to eat this morning but there are still some good trout to be caught. Along with the trout comes everything else and we had a nice bunch of black snappers with the trout.
Some of the keeper trout were caught on artificials with the big one being caught on live bait.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Pass should start getting going with the sheeps. Spanish are probably two to three weeks away.
Next southeast blow expect some cobia to be caught.
Trout are on the move with the spring spawn just around the corner. You want a big trout? Look at my pictures from last spring, I'm the man around here to put you on a big one.

Target Species:

Winter pattern for a few more weeks then everything will bust loose.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
