Spanish on the "run" and trout on the flats. - As each day passes the water issues seem to be clearing up. Today was the first day the spanish macks were thick on Deepwater Point. Miles get's some sheeps and a bonus grouper! - I don't normally complain...but keepin' it real and all...the brown water is starting to p... me off! More about that in a minute.
The pass is starting to slow down with the sheepshead bite. That bite normally only last a month to six weeks and more...

Wind & Rain, go away, come again another day - Wind & Rain, go away, come again another day (or should I say another month). In the past 12 days we have had over 14 of rain, and I'm over it. I've only been able to get out a couple of days on the water, but when I did, the fishing was awesome.

Fishing is good even though the bay water is brown. - Finally! Get a nice day without heavy wind or rain. Ended up in the pass catching some good sheeps. Had a couple of reds on but lost them. Can't Fight the Weather - Whoeever said you can't fight Mother Nature lied-
You can always fight but when you lose to her it's never pretty! The weather pattern has had the fronts coming so fast that we can't get a break from having to fight some part of nature to go fish more...
