The water temp has made a slow steady climb since the freeze of mid April and is in the mid 70's. Just about perfect for all our finny friends and not to bad to jump into when it's 85 on the beach either !

Panhandle - Panama City, West Bay & Port St. Joe - Last week was cold and windy for the Panhandle fishermen. We had winds upwards of 20mph and white caps all across the bay for most of the week. Cobia run is in full swing with a lot more fish this year than last. Some big fish...60lbs. plus were caught over the weekend. Get out and get you one because it won't last forever...couple more weeks at best.

Been catching 30 to 50 specks each trip out lately. Using DOA Shrimp fishing in three to five foot of water the trout bite has been hot. A few reds here and there with the big redfish months starting in May.
