Pensacola - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has been just about as good as this weather has been for the past few days! We are seeing a few sheepshead still showing up in the bay. These fish are being caught on live shrimp and fiddler crabs. We are still seeing as few redfish as well. These fish are still hanging around the bridge and cut bait has been the bait of choice! The best thing about the past few days is that we got to go offshore and get on some of those delicious triggerfish! We are catching these fish on squid and cut northern mackerel. We are having the cull through a lot of undersized fish to find our keepers but we are getting it done! We are also seeing a lot of vermilion snapper as well. We are using the same bait for them as we are the triggerfish. We also went and pulled on a few big amberjacks and big red snappers as well. It is only going to get better and now is the time to go!
