Captiva Fishing Charters

Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Captiva Island Fishing

The fishing around Sanibel Island and Captiva this week has been cold. Most of my Charters have caught trout and sheephead.

Sheephead are fun to catch when they get over 15". Florida fishing regulation is 15 sheephead per angler. Trout regulation for the Sanibel Captiva area is 4 per angler. Even if the weather is cold we still have good news in this area.

Grouper is also another species open until February. Some of these big fish will come inshore when the water temperatures get frigid.

I'll be back on the water tomorrow. Give me a call and I'll let you know what's going on.

See ya on the water!
