Above trout have again dominated, with good numbers of 3-4 lbers. and lots of sub-slot fish making for plenty of action.

Mike Bronan and his wife with a nice trout, with shortage of snook these bigger trout are showing up where the snook used to be. I am still using shrimp under a popping cork but if you like artificials soft plastics and pompano jigs work great. White is my color of choice.

Pompano, mackerel, ladyfish and a few bluefish are also beginning to show up in better numbers.

With water temperatures topping out at 75% this week small sharks and a few tarpon are showing up. Most of the tarpon are resident fish leaving the river but there will be others coming in with the increase of bait.

Dont forget to get your tarpon reservations done now, all indicators are for a early season.
