Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report for Sanibel week ending 5/24/09 I got a chance to know my rain suit a little to well this week with five strait days of rain. I will give my clients credit though no one backed out and they reaped the benifits of great snook, redfish and mangrove snapper fishing.Fishing with Larry Kline and Kevin Harbster four days this week these guys first chance at saltwater fishing will have them coming back for sure.Pictured are Larry with a 14 lb.snook a 7 lb. redfish

and Kevin with a 6 lb snook all personal bests.

Photo of the week.

Fishing with David Richardson and his daughter Amity Chandler, Amity would show that when fishing with braided line anything is possible. We have all seen this happen but I have never been able to photograph it, Amity"s shinner is hanging over a tree branch when a hungry redfish grabs it and she procedes to haul it up the tree. By the way we landed the fish congrats Amity. It took fifteen minutes to get the smile off her face.

Target Species:

Snook Redfish Mangrove Snapper
