Action has been steady in Sarasota this week. Tides are improving as we come off the full moon. Speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, snook, redfish, pompano, flounder, bluefish, jack crevelle, ladyfish, blacktip sharks, sea bass, and BIG mangrove snapper were all taken this week on the flats surrounding Big Sarasota Pass and the creeks and canals on Siesta Key in Roberts Bay. Live pilchards has been the bait of choice.
