Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

I volunteer at least two days a month with the Big Brothers of Indian River County. Yesterday my little brother Rashaad and I staked out in a little cut in between two large flats in order to get out of the wind. The tide was falling and the fish were chewing. It was a non-stop bite of trout, jacks, blues, ladyfish, and a few spanish.

We were bouncing 1/4oz leadheads with nite glow paddle tails. By the end of the day it was mostly just bluefish biting so I put on a short steel leader and started using plastics from the bottom of my box. The blues don't mind five yr. old faded out grubs. Rashaad and I had another great day on the Indian River. If you have some time to give the Big Brothers Big Sisters org. is a really good way to make a big difference in a little kids life.
Sebastian Fishing Forecast:

The best bite for me right now is early morning top water with mullet colored walk the dog plugs. We have been catching some nice trout and a couple BIG snook on the flats early then moving to the mangroves for reds with shrimp or jerk baits.
