FISHING & FILMING ON THE INDIAN RIVER

Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
We launched our Florida boat about ten days ago and had a few trips with local friends before the weather turned cold. Fortunately, yesterday (Saturday) was quite balmy and calm, and we had a date with Capt. Doug Slater, a Bedford NY resident, who has a great fishing web site: www.fishinimpossible.com . Doug brought along his camera and sound people, Kurt and Kirsten—who reside in Seattle WA—and we had a fantastic day fishing and filming on the Indian River.
Among the species brought over the side on light tackle were sea trout, grouper, ladyfish, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, catfish, lizard fish….and we got some great shots of dolphin and a sea tortoise. Altogether we boated more than 30 fish, all of which were returned to the river.
At this point I don't know exactly when the episode will be featured on the web site, but when we find out, we'll give you a heads up. Check out the site when you can; it's got some very exciting stuff, and Doug's a great guy and a fine fisherman.
It was an honor and privilege to be a part of this endeavor. And it was fun!
