Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

I just finished 3 days of fishing with Ed Vargas, his dad Jesse, and friends Bob and Brent. We fished the flats around Sebastian and caught lots of trout, blues, jack crevalle, and Spanish mackerel. Most of the trout were caught in 3 ft. of water on white suspending X Raps. The mouth of the inlet was full of nice size Spanish mackerel. We probably averaged 100 fish a day. Ed keeped a few trout and Spanish for dinner but most were released unharmed to be caught again.
Sebastian Fishing Forecast:

The month of April will bring on even better fishing around Sebastian with Tarpon in the Sebastian River, Redfish moving in the skinny water, and the best time of year for large trout. If you get tired of shallow water the mouth of the Inlet will continue to be filled with Spanish, Blues, and large Redfish.
Target Species:

Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon,
