Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last week we worked all the local "hot spots" on the flats in the Indian River. The action was definitely on the slow side, but we brought in some sea trout, a Spanish mackerel (which was a tasty dinner treat for Bonnie and me), and a few other fish not worth mentioning.
Winter winds continue to frustrate fishermen, and we're still dealing with some cold nights and mornings. Last night the thermometer held fast between 39-43°!
Water temps are still in the mid-60's, which is coolish for this time of year.
We're still hoping to get the high winds and this cold spell behind us so we can experience all that the area has to offer before we head back to Connecticut in early April.
