Springtime in Sebastian

Capt. Jim Jereb
April 15, 2010
Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

The early morning top water bite has been good for trout and a few snook on the flats. We have had good results with Top Dogs in mullet color. Later in the day I've been fishing the edges of the flats with X Raps and Yozuri 3D minnows and catching a little of everything. Fishing the mangroves with shrimp, or red and gold flake jerk baits has been good for redfish but we have also caught some real nice trout and snook this way.

Sebastian Fishing Forecast:

The next month will see fishing continuing to improve for snook and reds. The last of April and all of May are also a good time for tarpon. I'm booked pretty solid from April 18-28. After that I have openings. Call me Capt. Jim Jereb 772-766-6132.

More Fishing Reports:

I'm Capt Jim Jereb with flat feat charters and I specialize in light tackle fishing around the Sebastian Inlet area including the beautiful Sebastian River and Indian River Lagoon. I'm all about catching fish and having fun. I charge less because I'd probably be out on the water anyway. Pros and novices will all have a great time, and go home with some great pictures and memories. Night fishing trips also available.
