Capt. Mike Peppe

Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Over the last 2 weeks we have seen a bunch of 5-20# Tarpon in the Sebastian river as well as many Snook of all sizes around docks and other structure. In addition the trout bite has been very good in the lagoon with fish averaging between 17-23". In the Ocean schools of Bonita and Spanish have been following the Brown baits and we have been catching them on Mirro-Lure catch Jrs and Mirrodines as well as DOA tiny Terror-eyz. The Snook and Tarpon in the river have been gobbling the DOA 1/4 Oz Shrimp in Nite Glow and Stark Naked as well as a Seaducer or Crystal Creature Fly. The Trout will eat any surface or suspending bait as well as Jigs throughout the day.
