Winter fishing still hot in the Everglades - Well the water temperature is still in the low 70's, but the fish don't seem to mind. The trout bite continues to the best I have seen in years. Fort Myers fishing report - Cold fronts continue to keep inshore water cold. The fish have adjusted to the cold water and are schooled up in areas where the water is slightly warmer during the middle of the day.
