Hello Fish Fans. Welcome aboard the REEL BUSY and to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. Sailfish season has begun so breakout the dredges and tease them up.

Sailfish and dolphin have been providing most of the action with kingfish, wahoo and tuna scattered about.

The sailfish migration has begun and every cold front pushing through brings more sailfish off the coast of Stuart. Most of the sailfish we've caught over the last couple of weeks are sailfish pups of 10 to 20 pounds. Larger sailfish of 35 to 55 pounds will be showing up this month and the sailfish bite should be good to excellent on most days through February.

The dolphin bite has been good to excellent and you can expect more of the same as the temperatures cool down. Most of the dolphin we're catching are 5 to 15 pounds with a few in the mid to lower 20's.

Sailfish and dolphin are the main attraction this time of year and the kingfish bite always gets fired up in December. There's been a few wahoo on the current edges and small blackfin and skipjack tuna in the mix.
