Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report
July 17:
Had a action packed fishing trip. Our guys caught 47 tuna, mostly stud blackfins and skippies but we did manage a handful of yellowfin up to 55lbs! Saw a blue marlin under a frigate that we didn't get a bite from also had one free jump 50ft in front of the boat on the way home. Jumped 6 times QUICK!
Caught some mystic grouper and yellow eyes before the 3.7 magnitude earthquake shit the bite down.
Back at it locally tmrw
July 18:
Well bait was tough and we ran out at 12:15. Left the dock for a scheduled 3/4 day today and bait was tough. We caught about 35 baits and started fishing at 8:30. But we had some excellent action for 3 hours and ran out of bait about an hour ahead of schedule and we were back at the dock by 1!
Caught 5 bonito
3 out of 4 sailfish all first for the anglers
Also caught 3 nice sized amberjack, an Almaco Jack and a quality kingfish!
July 19:
Marshall reported great fishing again in the Indian and St Lucie River. He and his guest caught and released 7 snook to 35", released some Goliath Grouper and also caught Cubera and Mangrove snapper for dinner.
Give me a call to discuss your inshore and offshore fishing options. Inshore and offshore fishing has continued to be great!
