Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report
February 11:
Marshall reported great action on his morning fishing charter. It was non-stop with Ladyfish, jacks, snook, bluefish, croakers, pompano, sheepshead and more.
Give us a call to book your inshore fishing charter, lock and load action and plenty of food for the fryer!
February 12:
Never had a sailfish bite this afternoon. We did manage to catch some amberjack, grouper and Cobia though when the trolling bite didn't cooperate.
February 12:
Fishing was a uncharacteristically slow for this time of year and especially for sailfish and the Winter migration that should be going on.
Our goal was to catch a sail and we had some encounters but they all got away including one as we were clearing the spread. We caught 5-6 bonito as well.
February 13:
We had a fun 3/4 day offshore fishing charter with Gerry and his guests. We caught a 3 mahis to 12lbs, a dozen snapper including Lane and Mutton and the DayMaker for the day was Gerry's 38lb Cobia.
All in all, it was a great day of fishing both trolling for mahi and bottom fishing for snapper and Cobia.
Looking forward to seeing my sister and the family tonight for Moms Birthday!
February 14:
Today we had a split charter with repeat customer John and Helena and new clients Steve and his wife Linda. We started the day catching a little live bait and then went trolling. We picked away at some dolphin and bonito catching 4 of each by noon and then we decided to go bottom fishing. We caught 4 amberjack to 30lbs a couple of grouper and some small snapper.
February 15:
We rescheduled our Stuart Sailfish charter today with Steve and his son. High winds and high seas forced us to reschedule our trip today. I'm looking forward to taking these guys another day.
