Mixed Bag, Fun Day Trolling and Bottom Fishing

Capt. Nick Cremasco
October 29, 2017
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had a fun day with regulars Frank, Poul, Bob and new angler Gracie on a full day split charter. We started the day trolling and Frank and Gracie caught a double-header of sailfish. Mahi bites were lacking today so we switched gears from our trolling charter to bottom fishing tactics. We had excellent action on the bottom releasing 17 Genuine Red Snappers to 10 lbs. We also caught 7 mutton snapper, a cobia, lane snappers, seabass, triggerfish, 6 amberjack to 22 lbs., 3 red grouper to 12 lbs., and some sharks.

Everyone went home with a nice bag of fish and got a show from some acrobatic sailfish.

Give us a call to book your deep sea or inshore fishing charter.
