Capt. Nick Cremasco

Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

March 4:

Today we fished with repeat client Bob Malfa and his buddies from Boston. We had great fishing catching 3 out of 5 Cobia bites with the biggest fish around 38lbs. We caught 7 Amberjack keeping a limit of 4. We also caught mutton snapper, genuine red snapper, porgies and sea bass. We put a couple baits on the surface for a while and also released a double-header of Sailfish!

For the 5th year we were honored to sponsor such a great event and charity. We donated a charter and sponsored a team to benefit the Vietnam Vets. The event was held again at the South Florida Shooting Club. A blast was had by all no Pun intended...

March 6:

Today we fished an offshore bottom fishing charter with Jamie and his buddies from Orlando. We started the morning Cobia fishing and lost on to the Sharks. Ran offshore and caught 7 Amberjack to 35lbs and a 22lb Gag Grouper. We switched gears and caught about 15 snapper, some rose and chocolate chip porgies and some sea bass! We ended the day looking for Cobia again and found a couple but couldn't get either of them to bite!

We cancelled our charter today with Brian and his guests due to a high wind and sea forecast and when we woke up this morning the beach can verified it. 20-30knots ESE
