The Sailfish Bite

Capt. Wayne Brodeur
January 30, 2019
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans and welcome to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. The lack of cold fronts kept hundreds if not thousands of sailfish 80 to 100 miles north of Stuart Florida. January was pitifully slow with just a pick of sailfish, dolphin and kingfish.

The rapid fire cold fronts of the last two weeks has the sailfish on the move. Acres of bait has been moving in the last ten days and the sailfish are always close behind.

The wind and seas are settling down this weekend and I expect to find the red hot sailfish bite that Stuart Florida is known for. Timing is everything this time of year so get out there and catch some sailfish before the next cold front rolls in next weekend.

I'll be back in about 10 days with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you Later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6698 www.reelbusycharters.com
