Second Largest Gag Grouper Ever

Capt. Nick Cremasco
June 3, 2020
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fished with Steve, Caleb, Jim and Craig. We had a great day. Started out trolling and that was slow, poor water and tons of grass out to 260 ft. Caught a nice Kingfish in 340 ft on the planer that I thought/hoped was a wahoo. Decided to give up on the trolling at 11 and go bottom fishing. We had to hop around but we had some serious quality bites. We caught 3 groupers including a stud Blackbelly that weighed 42.9 lbs. A true accomplishment for Caleb and his first time fishing offshore. The Penn Torque assisted on the job! We also caught Amberjacks, almaco jacks, rudderfish, and red snapper.
