Snook Season around the Corner

Capt. Bob Bushholz
August 31, 2017
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yes, it's one of my favorite times of the year. Snook open again Sept. 1st. running through Dec 15th. Slot size on the east coast remains 28- 32". The mullet run is just starting here and normally runs through October which is quite a sight. It's a great time to target bait schools for tarpon, snook, jacks and others.

Look for tripletail and flounder action to increase through December. We are currently up to 30 tt's for the year.
