Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report
The past week of fishing on the DayMaker has been great out of the St. Lucie Inlet in Stuart Florida. We have been catching limits of BIG Sea bass every day from 15-22" (2-3lbs)
We have caught limits of Amberjack each day too.
Grouper fishing has been hit or miss but we have caught 1 a day for the past couple of days and a limit a week ago.
Extinct Genuine Red Snapper are everywhere and we have caught them up to 16lbs in the past 10 days.
We have caught Cobia, Triggerfish, Porgies and Almaco Jacks too.
On the surface we have been sight-casting to Sails and caught a few last week and 2-3 yesterday. We did put the kite up for an hour today after catching a limit of Sea Bass and caught 1-2 sails and a 8lb Mahi.
Fishing should continue to be good preceding the full moon.
Stuart Fishing Forecast:
good sea bass fishing and bottom fishing should continue especially for snapper (vermillion, Lane, Genuine)
Sailfishing should be good for the next 2-3 weeks but it will be good one day and not so good another
Target Species:
Grouper, Snapper, AJ's, Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish
