Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

August 20:
Today we left the dock at 3 and headed offshore to do some high speed trolling for wahoo. We started fishing around 4:15 and had our 1st bite around 5:30. Unfortunately we broke the fish off. We fished till about 7:30 in ended the evening catching 2 wahoo out of 5 bites in the 3 hours of fishing. Weather did not cooperate for swordfishing though. As we ended our evening wahoo fishing the sky opened up with heavy rain squalls and plenty of lightning. Lightning is not our friend on the water LOL. Anyway we pulled into Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach and had dinner there on the water and ended up tied up to the marina dock till 2am. We made the most of our weather and evening telling stories and doing a little fishing off the dock.

August 21:
Well we cracked our riser which is part of the exhaust for the Engine. Zane and I took a ride before putting the boat down for a while for repair. Hope to be back up and running for Labor Day weekend.
August 23:
Well we removed the after cooler from the engine today to clean the air side from the exhaust leak. Also removed the riser and the water can which ended up coming apart in two pieces. WHOA. NOT NORMAL...

Anyway we are on the mend and look forward to getting in on some great summer wahoo and swordfish charters so give us a call to book your trip.
August 25:
Unfortunately due to our mechanical issues we were not able to fish the Genuine Red Snapper Season. Hope to be back together by Mid-Week.
August 27:
Bad news. We are still broke down and had to cancel our tuna trips for yesterday and today. Ran into a delay in repairs and hope to be up and running by Saturday.
