Wind, Waves, and Teeth

Capt. Kyle O'Hearn
May 22, 2014
Sugarloaf Key - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been blowing roughly 20 knots for about 2 weeks now. It has been pretty tough to see everything you'd like on the flats. So we have been going after predators and some tarpon as well. The shark bite is always hot and we have seen some pretty large cudas in about 3 feet of water on the flat. Tarpon are migrating out front but not too many are biting because of the pressure they're getting during their travels. Some out back are biting when you see them layed up. Come down and book the trip of a lifetime today.

Sugarloaf Key Fishing Forecast:

the next coming weeks are looking much better. looking to see some permit, tarpon, and some bonefish since the winds are going to die down and the tides are looking great.

Target Species:

tarpon, bonefish, permit
