The Cold Weather Bite Has Been Steady Action!

Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Cold weather has swept through the Tampa Bay area. However, the cold weather has not turned off the bite. The fish in Tampa Bay are still biting. We are having to fish in different areas than we normally fish in and use different techniques to get on a good bite, but we are still catching fish.

The redfish bite has slowed down a bit with the cooler weather, but it hasn't stopped. We are still catching them. Once the weather warms back up a bit, the redfish bite will improve.

On the other hand, trout fishing has been great. We have caught a number of really great fish lately. We met limits in size and numbers.

The cooler weather is causing the snook to run for warmer water. The bite has been hit or miss, but we've managed to catch some great fish.
