Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has been great the past week. I filmed a show with Capt. Mike Anderson of Reel Animals Fishing that was non stop.

We started with Speckled Trout. Then caught a bunch of in the slot size Redfish with a few fun size Snook mixed in.

We started fishing around 8am and where back at the dock by 12 noon. It is also going off on the beaches around Anna Maria Island.

Spanish Mackerel, Kings, Sharks and Bonita are all working the bait schools.

Just look for birds working off the beach on the schools. Silver spoons, Nylon jigs and Gotcha plugs are all you need for some fun action. Of coarse a frozen chum bag tied on the transom with a well full of sardines really does the trick!
This fishing should continue until the weather gets to cold. But before that happens it is game on here off Anna Maria!
