It is finally starting to feel more like spring than winter in Tampa Bay. The water temperature is warming up and the fish are starting to bite great. Bait has been hard to catch, but we've managed to do it and the fish love it. When the water temperature is above 60 degrees, which it is now, the fish eat pretty darn well. Occasionally, we've had to fish with MirrOlure jigs in the early part of the early part of the day, and we've had great success with them when the water temperature is below 60 degrees.

We have been catching snook, redfish, trout, and a few flounder mostly, and just last week, we caught our very first tarpon of the season.
