Capt. Tony Frankland
January 16, 2014
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

here my fishing report by captain tony frankland
as i write this there is a cold front blowing thru tampa bay it has been the week of cold fronts. the black drum have biting also large jacks have been hungry and eating the live shrimp we have been using live shrimp in winter is the top choice of baits also we have been catching redfish. and trout, with some cobia, being spoted on the warm water flats this time of year look for warmer water temp. the warm pockets of water are the areas were the fish are eating the best! try to fish in between the cold fronts for best results with to cool water late moring is a good starting time.
