It Only Gets Better In June.

Capt. Sean Hagen
May 26, 2008
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Despite afternoon showers the bite has remained
steady. The reds and snook have stayed true to the shallow flats while the trout seem to be
seeking sightly deeper water.

All an all The fishing in Tampa Bay has been excellent this May.Exspect the tarpon bite to
be off the chain during Junes new and full moon
phases. The crab chew in the bay last year was crazy insane. This year will be just as good as
last years, as soon as the pass crabs show in good numbers.

The Reports I recieved from Captiva Pass during
last month's full moon were favorable. The crabs
were in the pass and the poons couldnt get enough of them(refusing to eat threads and pins).
Fly fishing in the pass has also been productive
with double digit numbers of tarpon being jumped
on crab like imatation flies.

The tides will be improving by week's end and
the fishing should be red hot by this comming weekend.Hope to see you out there. capt.Sean
