Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster following Hurricane Irma. My house in Big Pine Key was severely damaged and dealing with insurance companies has been a bear. On a lighter note I have been running charters in Tampa and the fishing has been fantastic!!!
There are still a ton of tarpon available inside Tampa bay and I have been pursuing them daily. They have been eating flies really well along with soft plastic jerk baits.

A ton of glass minnows have invaded the bay and giant schools of jacks, bluefish, mackerel, bonita, and tarpon are following them around. If you want drag screaming, rod bending action, now is the time. You can call me at 3053409863 or visit http://tampaflatsfishingcharter.com/tampa-fly-fishing-charters/ to book a charter.

I will resume fly fishing in the Florida Keys on October 15th as well. To book a fly fishing or flats fishing trip give me a call or visit http://flyfishingthefloridakeys.com/
Tight Lines,
