Redfish and Snook Everywhere

Capt. Brandon Henley
August 14, 2016
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tampa Bay fishing is really excellent right now. Excellent tides have really had the redfish chewing. Fishing around the oyster bars and mangrove shorelines has been extremely productive. Hammered gold spoons, cutbait and live pilchards have all caught their fair share.
Snook fishing is also great and is about to explode. As soon as water temperatures start to fall a bit, the top water plug fishing will be incredible. Plug fishing for snook is some of the most productive and fun fishing of the year.
I am also catching tarpon early in the mornings, Rolling fish are taking mirrolures and well placed flies. These fish should hang around until the first cold fronts. If you would like to book a Tampa Fishing Charter visit www.tampaflatsfishingcharter.com or give me a call at 305-340-9863.
