May flats fishing is really heating up. Bait on the other hand is on the harder side, Good one day not the next. Somedays taking upwards of 2 hours of running and chumming to secure enough bait for a trip.

Nice Blacktip Sharks, some almost 4 foot have been landed on recent trips along with some small Bonnet head and Hammerhead 30 to 36 inch range. Great fight on flats with lite tackle.

The Trout bite has been the most consistent bite on the flats. A lot of slot size are being caught. A few in the 22 to 27 inch were released for another days fight.
Redfish bite had been on the slower side the last week. One day you just look at them the next day it's on fire. Snook are on the move and eating well getting ready for the spawn.

Spanish Mackerel are all over the bay hitting live bait and artifices. Losing a lot of tackle on them lately but a lot of fun when the action is hot.
Some good tasting Mangrove Snappers have made their way home for some anglers dinner. The bite will continue through summer. A lot we are keeping are in the 12 to 15 inches. A feel in the 17 inch.
