It's Almost Springtime In Tampa Bay!

Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

It is cold in Tampa Bay! It is cold for March. It feels more like December or January, but the fish don't seem to mind much. They are still biting. Yes, the bite has slowed down a bit, but we are still catching a bunch of fish.

Finding areas to fish out of the wind is not that hard to do in Tampa Bay. The water temperature tends to be warmer in these areas, benefiting the fishermen and the fish. Fishing in cold weather always seems to pose a challenge, and I love a good challenge.

Overall, fishing has been really good so far this year. We haven't had much trouble getting on a good bite after putting some time into it. Spring is right around the corner, and that means that more and more fish are going to start showing up each day.
