It's Summertime - Fish and Anglers Loving It!

Capt. TJ Stewart

Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's summertime and the fish are loving it. Fishing in Tampa Bay has been pretty darn good despite the changes in the weather. Unbelievably, we did have a cold front sweep through the area mid-month that caused fishing to be a bit tough. Thankfully, both the weather and the fishing are getting back to normal.

The tarpon bite has been a little spotty lately, all the way from Tampa Bay to Boca Grande. Some days the bite is on fire and others it is turned totally off. The bite should get better, as the weather is back to our normal summertime weather.

Tarpon is not the only fish we have been catching. We have been catching some snook and redfish in the Bay on either high water or real low water.
